With Deion Sanders trending on social media for some wild antics in a recent Colorado press conference, longtime sports personality Jason Whitlock chimed in and made his feelings toward Coach Prime known.
Whitlock spoke on Sanders’ decision to reject certain questions in the press conference and called him “Softer than baby poop.”
“Deion Sanders needs help,” Whitlock said. “This isn’t about wins and losses. It’s about a man so fragile, fraudulent, and feminine that he can’t take questions from men who mean him no harm. It’s embarrassing. He’s wearing sunglasses and constantly snorting like Bubbles from The Wire. It’s being glossed over because he’s black, and everyone is scared. This dude needs help.”
Sanders rejected questions from a cast of media members on Friday, including KCNC’s Eric Christensen, who Sanders pushed off due to his affiliation with CBS Sports.
“I’m not doing anything with CBS. Next question,” Sanders said. “It ain’t got nothing to do with you. It’s above that. It ain’t got nothing to do with you. I’ve got love for you; I appreciate and respect you. It ain’t got nothing to do with you. They know what they did. You are who you are. CBS is CBS, all right? I’m looking you in the eye as a man. I respect you. I’ve got love for you. But what they did was foul.”
Whitlock continued by saying, “He finished in last place in the PAC-12 and is so insecure about it that he won’t answer questions from reporters unless they ‘like’ him. A 10-year-old girl has thicker skin. He’s 57 and makes everyone call him a childhood nickname. This isn’t leadership. It’s malpractice. Softer than baby poop.”
Colorado kicks off the 2024 season on Thursday, August 29th, against an impressive North Dakota State team. Should the Buffaloes lose the matchup, the backlash directed at CU will likely only get louder.
