Being the firstborn son of an NBA legend must have countless perks.

For starters, you don’t need to work a single day of your life and you’re still going to be set, and you’ll get to do things and go places most human beings aren’t able to.

Nonetheless, it also comes with some demands, especially if you decide to take the same steps as your father.

That’s the case with Bronny James.

You have to have thick skin to do what he’s doing, as not many young men would’ve been up to the task of dealing with the absurd and unrealistic expectations that come with being LeBron James’ son.

With that in mind, LeBron talked about Bronny’s approach to basketball and life, stating that he just doesn’t care about the critics.

Talking to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, James admitted that Bronny was quite different from him in that regard.

James also praised his son for making the decision to pursue a career in basketball, knowing that he would be scrutinized.

He also addressed the fact that he had heart surgery just around this time last year, and he’s now out there balling.

Truth be told, no one has ever wanted to see Bronny fail, or at least not most fans.

If anything, people criticize how they handled his career and the privileged spot he may have taken away from a more deserving player.
