Live updates on some of the nation’s top recruits

TAMPA, Fla. – Overtime’s OT7 Finals return for the third year this weekend, which means that some of the nation’s top recruits will be in action over the next three days at the Tournament Sportsplex of Tampa Bay.

Two years ago, now-Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamalaeva put on a show in Las Vegas. Last year it was future Ohio State teammates and five-stars Jeremiah Smith and Julian Sayin making headlines in Los Angeles. Plenty of other budding college football stars have also turned heads at the annual event, which makes it a fun evaluation point in the offseason as it’s one of the few events where there’s a chance to see best on best.

Headlining this year’s roster is a trio of Top247 quarterbacks in Notre Dame commit Deuce Knight, UCLA commit Madden Iamaleava and TCU commit Ty Hawkins along with another high-profile signal caller in FSU commit Tramell Jones Jr. and promising underclassmen like Jonas Williams, Luke Fahey and Elijah Haven.

The wide receiver group is loaded. Names to know there in the class of 2025 include: Vernell Brown, Donovan Olugbode, Talyn Taylor, Naeshaun Montgomery, Marcus Harris and Louisville commit Lebron Hill. Top-ranked junior tight end Kendre Harrison is also expected to be on hand as well as classmates like Chris Henry Jr., Madden WIlliams, CJ Sadler, Tristen Keys, Xavier McDonald, Malachi Toney and Aaron Gregory

When it comes to the defensive backs, the biggest name in attendance is Ohio State five-star cornerback commit Devin Sanchez. Dijon Lee, Texas A&M commit Adonyss Currie, Clemson commit Graceson Littleton, USC commit Hylton Stubbs, Gregory Xavier Thomas, Indiana commit Byron Baldwin, Kentucky commit Martels Carter Jr. and Chris Ewald are some other blue-chip 2025 corners and safeties that are set to participate.

The action gets underway on Friday with pool play beginning at 10 a.m ET and going well into the evening hours. Sunday’s single-elimination tournament will be featured on NFL Network. Stay locked into 247Sports for recruiting scoop and scouting notes by clicking, here.
