Star wide receiver Ja’Corey Brooks and the Louisville Cardinals (4-3) meet the Boston College Eagles (4-3) on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET, at Alumni Stadium (Chestnut Hill, MA).
The Cardinals were defeated by the Miami (FL) Hurricanes 52-45 in their most recent game. Last time out, the Eagles fell to the Virginia Tech Hokies 42-21. Against the Hurricanes, Tyler Shough led the Cards with 342 yards on 31-of-51 passing (60.8%) for four touchdowns and no interceptions. Isaac Brown totaled 56 rushing yards on nine carries (6.2 yards per carry), scoring one touchdown on the ground. He also had six catches for 23 yards. Brooks had six receptions for 107 yards (17.8 per catch) and two touchdowns against the Hurricanes. Thomas Castellanos threw for 205 yards for the Eagles against the Hokies, going 17-for-26 (65.4%) with two touchdowns and no interceptions. He added 20 carries for 58 yards. Turbo Richard put together a nine-carry, 64-yard game (7.1 yards per attempt). Jeremiah Franklin caught three passes on three targets for 49 yards (16.3 yards per reception), and scored one touchdown.
