English Premier League powerhouses Manchester City have teamed up with one of their most famous fans to release a kit marking a special anniversary.
Man City has collaborated with Noel Gallagher of Oasis — a supporter of the club since the 1970s — to produce the “Definitely City” fourth kit for 2024-25, which commemorates the 30th anniversary of the band’s debut album, Definitely Maybe.
The kit was released on Thursday, September 12, and “will be worn exclusively in select European fixtures, encapsulating the spirit of a Club ready to rock on the biggest stages in Europe,” according to the club’s website.
The colors for the kit mirror those found in the album art for Definitely Maybe. The base is a light straw color, with a slate blue polo collar and side panels. The sleeve cuffs are “poppy pink,” as are stripes that cut through the side panels diagonally.
“Marine blue supersonic waves” radiate out from underneath the Man City crest on the front of the shirt, and the crest itself features a background that fades from yellow to pink. The waves are also present on the back of the shirt, and “Definitely City” is written in Noel’s handwriting on the back collar.
The names and numbers on the back of the kit are set in a font based on Noel’s handwriting. Manchester City are using the same font on their other kits for cup competitions this season.
“It’s a proper honour. When the guys from PUMA approached us at one of the games, I took about five seconds to agree to it. It’s the same colour palette as the cover of Definitely Maybe. I think it’s unique, but it’s definitely striking and I think it looks great. When you see people represent your Club, it’s important that they look good.
“Definitely Maybe has never lost its magic to me. I just think it’s an amazing snapshot of what we were about. With the anniversary, I’ve been listening to it a lot more than I would ever listen to it. You know, it makes me smile. They were great times. Really, really great. I mean, it’s spawned a great football kit. So its legacy lives on.”

The kit is part of a larger Definitely City collection that is all designed in collaboration with Noel and includes pre-match apparel, a track jacket, pants, an overshirt, a bomber jacket, a polo shirt and a retro jersey.
Manchester City will wear the Definitely City kits on the pitch for the first time on Wednesday, September 18, when they host defending Italian Serie A champions Inter Milan in UEFA Champions League action.
In late August, Noel and his brother Liam announced they were getting Oasis back together for the first time since 2009 and touring around the United Kingdom and Ireland in July and August 2025. Tickets for dates announced for Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin were snapped up quickly when they went on sale August 31.
