More on this storyline

Brad Turner: Can confirm that Mo Bamba has agreed to 1 year deal to join Clippers. Bamba provides the Clippers the backup center they need. He’s on veteran minimum deal -via Twitter @BA_Turner / July 1, 2024
Law Murray: Can confirm the LA Clippers adding former lottery pick Mo Bamba on a one-year deal. Another 2024 76er added today, along with Nico Batum. @wojespn first It is a minimum contract, per team source. It is also the kind of 3-and-D big Clippers haven’t had since Serge Ibaka left. -via Twitter @LawMurrayTheNU / July 1, 2024
While describing his free-agency approach, Bamba said fit will be his priority, “somewhere, anywhere, even if it’s here.” He is a more traditional rim protector with some long-range shooting. And it’s fair to imagine he thought he might be Embiid’s backup when he signed last summer, before the Sixers matched the offer for restricted free agent Paul Reed. -via The Philadelphia Inquirer / May 10, 2024
