Monday: Busy schedule continues with three games

The busy Christmas and New Year schedule continues with the start of Week 18 in the Elite Ice Hockey League.

Two days before the start of 2025, six teams will be on the ice looking to add to their festive points totals. Here’s what’s coming up today:

Dundee Stars were the only team to pick up maximum points in the games after Christmas, coming out with a pair of wins over Fife. They head to Belfast who are just four points off top spot in the league – and will be level first if they win their games in hand. The Giants split their series with Glasgow with a home win each.

Fife Flyers host Glasgow Clan hoping to end 2024 at home on a high note. The Flyers were narrowly beaten by Dundee on Boxing Day and then ran out of steam in the final period in Dundee two nights ago.

Sheffield Steelers ended a run of four losses with a win in Nottingham on Saturday, having gone down to the same opposition on Boxing Day. Manchester Storm, meanwhile, had a home win over Guildford before losing the reverse fixture.
