Darlington Raceway is the venue for this week’s NASCAR action, and the Cup Series race is the Goodyear 400, set for Sunday at 3:00 pm Eastern. You can watch the race on FS1 or listen on the Motor Racing Network or the SiriusXM app. Last week, Denny Hamlin bumped his way past Kyle Larson on the last lap at Kansas Speedway to win the AdventHealth 400. Hamlin started his chase after a restart on Lap 221 of 267, and Hamlin ended up turning Larson into the outside wall with slight contact; Larson recovered, but he was 1.307 seconds behind Hamlin in second. This ended a 33-race drought for Hamlin, who won at Kansas for the fourth time. The race featured 37 lead changes among a dozen different drivers, setting a record for lead changes for a 400-mile race on a 1 ½-mile intermediate track. Let’s look at the NASCAR betting odds for the Goodyear 400, and then we’ll talk wager card suggestions.

Kyle Larson
looked headed for victory last week until Denny Hamlin’s fender and some bad luck cost him first place. Look for him to come to Darlington with even more motivation.
William Byron
has had some bad lucky. At Dover he led the most laps but didn’t get the win. He lost three laps at Kansas but still roared back to come in third. Even with bad luck, he has a really fast car.
Denny Hamlin
got booed at Kansas by fans who didn’t like the way he won. However, a win is a win, and Hamlin looked very fast while he was making the chase.
Martin Truex Jr
showed us that leading laps is important. He led 79 laps at Kansas but didn’t win. He led 68 laps and got the win at Dover two races ago. He’s still fast, so keep your eye out for him.
Tyler Reddick
is a fearless racer when it comes to approaching the wall, and that’s a tactic that pays off at Darlington. Reddick likes to race this way, so don’t be surprised to see him right there at the end.
Joey Logano
won the spring 2022 race at Darlington and led the most laps (107). Last fall, he led 64 laps and came in fourth. When he finished in the top ten at Kansas last week, he told the rest of the sport that he is finally ready to start defending his Cup Series title.
Christopher Bell
came in fifth and sixth at Darlington last year, and this year he’s in a really fast Toyota, even though he’s not the fastest driver on his team.
Chase Elliott
almost won at both of the 2020 races at Darlington. However, that was in a different racing package; since the change, he has struggled here.
Kyle Busch’s
car made the podium twice at Darlington in 2022, but Tyler Reddick was driving. The last time Busch won at Darlington was way back in 2008.
Erik Jones
won the fall race at Darlington in 2022, his second win at that race. He’s sneaking around under the odds radar this time around as well.
Ryan Blaney
doesn’t like Darlington, with just one top-ten finish in his last 11 races here (and that was an eighth-place). His average result over that stretch? 17.5.
