Kylian Mbappe joining Real Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain is almost confirmed and teams in Europe definitely have a reason to be scared. Although neither the club nor the player has announced it yet, the anticipated move is almost a reality, according to Fabrizio Romano. Therefore people cannot stop imagining the possibility of the club becoming a European superpowers.
The club has already seen a revival in the last decade but appears even more dangerous now with multiple superstars like Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham already. Hence, despite a few experts doubting if Mbappe would get the prominence he is used to in a star-studded squad, a former MLS player shuns all the doubts with his interesting prediction about the club.
There is no doubt that Mbappe will be one of the most important players for the club. And despite the apprehension about who he would replace in the team, former LA Galaxy player Alejandro Moreno states on ESPN FC that even a player like Rodrygo would be the player out pushing further players like Brahim Diaz to lower priority. He stated, “It’s not only Rodrygo that is being sacrificed, then you think about the domino effect of that. If indeed Rodrygo is sacrificed, then he goes to the bench which then means that that pushes Brahim Diaz further back.”
Diaz, who has returned to Madrid from a loan spell from AC Milan, proved to be a surprise package with 12 goals despite arriving from the bench most of the time. And with a player like the French captain coming in, there is very little scope for such players to start in the eleven, feels Moreno.
