Notre Dame secured another big-time commitment this past weekend from Indianapolis (Ind.) Ben Davis high school Top100 four-star cornerback Mark Zackery IV. The Fighting Irish beat Ohio State, Michigan, Georgia, and many others for the 5-11, 165-pounder.
Per 247Sports, Zackery is the No. 59 overall player in the country, No. 6 cornerback in America, and No. 3 prospect from Indiana in the class of 2025. The industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings list him at No. 140 overall. He’s the No. 16 player at his position nationally, and No. 2 talent from his home state.
In addition, sources have informed 247Sports that Zackery will have the option to play basketball for Notre Dame head coach Micah Shrewsberry if he so chooses. Both programs would love to have the multi-sport athlete on their roster upon arrival in South Bend.
