Everyone has an opinion about Jim Harbaugh’s decision to leave the University of Michigan to take the head coaching job with the Los Angeles Chargers.
One of the more outspoken people about the situation has been ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum, who ripped into Harbaugh for his underhanded actions during an appearance on ESPN’s “First Take” on Thursday.
“I think he looks like a liar, I think he looks terrible, but the public is not seeing it the same way we are,” Finebaum said. “… It’ doesn’t matter how many rules he violated, it doesn’t matter how despicable his character has been or how many times he has lied, he has got away with it. His statement the other day basically was a middle finger to everyone, and he’s living happily every after on the West Coast.”
Harbaugh denies involvement in the sign-stealing scandal involving former Michigan football staff member Connor Stalions. When asked about the incident during Chargers training camp, Harbaugh said he wouldn’t apologize and was bullish about keeping his nose clean while at Michigan.
