Paul George is known as one of the most beloved NBA stars in the league but he’s also an accomplished podcaster.
According to a report from Boardroom, per NBACentral, that is a role George is taking very seriously.
George revealed that he spends a lot of time watching films on Stephen A. Smith, Shannon Sharpe, Chad Ochocino, and others in order to become a better podcaster.
The report states:
“From Stephen A. Smith‘s articulation to Chad Ochocinco’s ability to be funny by staying within himself and attributes in Ryan Clark, Brandon Marshall, Shannon Sharpe, Cam Newton, and others, he made sure to pay homage to those who’ve paved the way.”

George spends most of his time training and playing for the Los Angeles Clippers, but he also has a successful career as a podcaster.
His “Podcast P” show often has big stars from around the league and is used as a forum for George and his guests to talk about basketball, life, fame, and more.
He isn’t the first NBA star to have a podcast and he certainly won’t be the last but this report shows that he truly wants to be the best.
George is looking to some of the greatest in the business as a way to improve his own skills and give his audience even more.
Clippers fans are fine with this as long as George continues to play well for the team.
However, his time with the Clippers could be ending, as there is a ton of speculation about George leaving that team in the summer.
If he does say goodbye to the Clippers, it’ll be massive NBA news.
It’ll also provide a lot of material for an episode of his show.
