Premier League tips: Saturday’s 9/1 four-fold for the top flight

Aaron Ashley’s tips for Saturday’s Premier League action include plenty of goals when Spurs face West Ham and a win for Arsenal on the south coast.

After two weeks off due to the international break, the Premier League returns with a bang on Saturday as Tottenham host London rivals West Ham in the lunchtime kick-off.

There are five 3pm contests to enjoy after that, with Newcastle entertaining Brighton and Aston Villa heading to Fulham, before the curtain comes down with title-chasing Arsenal taking a trip to the seaside to face Bournemouth in a teatime treat.

To embrace the action, Aaron Ashley has carefully picked out a four-fold accumulator which pays out at odds of 9/1.

Over 3.5 goals in Tottenham v West Ham @ 19/20

Tottenham let a 2-0 lead slip to lose 3-2 at Brighton in their final game before the international break while West Ham turned on the style to record a 4-1 victory over Ipswich.

Both teams have scored in five of the last six meetings between these London rivals and everything suggests this is going to be another high-scoring encounter.

Spurs have the attacking resources to make hay but their high line often leaves them vulnerable to the counter-attack and they have kept only two clean sheets in seven league outings.

The Hammers also look stronger going forward than they do in defence and over 3.5 goals has been a winning bet in seven of their last 12 league games, which is the approach to take at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Newcastle to beat Brighton @ Evs

St. James’ Park continues to be a fortress for Newcastle and the Magpies may be able to kick on after the international break with three points against Brighton, who have failed to win on any of their last three trips to Tyneside.

The Seagulls came from two goals down to snap a four-game winless run against Spurs two weeks ago, but they had been beaten 4-2 at Chelsea and held to draws with Nottingham Forest and Ipswich prior to that.

The Magpies are unbeaten in 11 home league games and they have already beaten Tottenham and held Manchester City to a point at St. James’ Park this season.

Leicester or draw double chance v Southampton @ 8/13

Southampton are finding life in the Premier League tough, having taken only one point from their first seven games, and they may struggle to get off the mark against Leicester.

The Saints have shown some promising signs going forward but they have conceded exactly three times in four of their last five league matches.

Leicester have been more competitive than Southampton following their promotion from the Championship and the Foxes’ only defeat in their last four league games came away at title-chasing Arsenal.

Arsenal to beat Bournemouth @ 4/6

Arsenal lived dangerously in their final two league games before the international break as they scored a pair of injury-time goals to beat Leicester 4-2 before coming from behind in a 3-1 victory over Southampton.

However, as all good teams do, the Gunners found a way to succeed and they can maintain their unbeaten start to the season with victory at Bournemouth, who have lost three of their last four league matches without scoring.

The Cherries were beaten 4-0 and 3-0 by Arsenal last season and look up against it once more.
