Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters draw revealed – Novak Djokovic

Singles draw has been made for the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, taking place at the Monte-Carlo Country Club from April 7 until April 14.

Novak is a top seed and has a first-round BYE. The world no.1 will open his 2024 clay-court season campaign against Roman Safiullin (RUS, ATP no.40).

Nole’s potential opponents in the later stages of the tournament are:

3rd round: Taylor Fritz (USA, 13), Adrian Mannarino (FRA), Lorenzo Musetti (ITA)
Quarter-finals: Andrey Rublev (RUS, 6), Alex De Minaur (AUS, 11)
Semi-finals: Carlos Alcaraz (ESP, 3), Casper Ruud (NOR, 8), Hubert Hurkacz (POL, 10)

Jannik Sinner (ITA, 2), Daniil Medvedev (RUS, 4), Alexander Zverev (GER, 5), Stefanos Tsitsipas (GRE, 9)… are in the opposite half of the draw, and Novak can’t meet them before the final.

Djokovic won the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters title twice, in 2013 and 2015.

Last year he lost to Lorenzo Musetti in the third round (6-4, 5-7, 4-6).

This will be Novak’s 17th appearance at the event (36-14 record).

Andrey Rublev is a defending champion.
