The clock is ticking for 3x NBA Slam Dunk champion Nate Robinson. The former New York Knicks point guard revealed a month ago that he might not have long to live after he faced some serious kidney issues. Robinson had undergone a kidney failure diagnosis two years ago. Ever since then, he has been on a hunt to find a donor who can help him save his life through a kidney transplant. He gave this health update a month ago, and now, it looks like things have got more serious. 3x 6MOTY Jamal Crawford has made a sudden announcement on his Twitter, which has raised concern for Robinson.
Nate Robinson is in urgent need of a donor with a blood type of A+ or O. Crawford shared a video that addressed Robinson’s issue. The tweet revealed, “It’s a call for action. One of our most beloved hustlers of all time, Nate the Great Robinson, is in need of a kidney.” Crawford added a few words to this video, “All the posting we do about stuff that doesn’t matter. We need everyone with this one “.
Crawford and Robinson spent 3.5 seasons with the New York Knicks. As an ode to his friendship with Robinson, Crawford decided to create awareness of the 39-year-old’s emergency. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope that Robinson gets a donor, who can change his life now.
More to come…
