It didn’t take long for Kristaps Porzingis of the Boston Celtics to make an impact on Thursday night.
The big man did big things coming off the bench, scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds in just 20 minutes.
He got to work right away and immediately started to show how important he was.
Because of that, Skip Bayless was blown away and hopped on Twitter to share his opinion.
“This game is OVER. Porzingis, Finals MVP,” Bayless tweeted.
It is important to note that Bayless posted that thought before the game was halfway over, showing that Porzingis really was performing well right away.

Before Thursday’s game, Porzingis had been out for weeks because of an injury and he missed most of the playoffs.
Recently, there was talk of Porzingis coming back for the start of the Finals, which was very good news, although there were concerns about this status.
Would he really be healthy or would he be rushing to return to play on such a big stage?
His performance in Thursday’s game shows that he was truly good to go, healed, and also very motivated.
Porzingis was a question mark for some Celtics fans when he was signed last summer, partly because of his extensive history with multiple injuries.
There were worries that his past would repeat and he wouldn’t be there when Boston needed him most.
Those fears flared back up at the start of the postseason when Porzingis went down and wasn’t able to play, but the rest of the roster continued to thrive without him.
And now he is back and playing as if he never left.
Porzingis has never participated in the Finals before and this is obviously a very important moment in his career.
He is making that very clear and is playing like someone who wants to win his first ring.
