In the Saturday boxing odds, Stevenson is a gigantic -2500 moneyline favorite over, which is an implied win probability of 96.2%. The other bout between Foster (-225) and Conceicao (+170) is projected to be much closer.

On the undercard, rising lightweight star Keyshawn Davis (10-0, 7 KOs) takes on Miguel Madueno (27-1, 25 KOs) in what should be an action-packed affair. Davis, a 2021 Olympic silver medalist, has been impressive so far as a pro and looks to take another step towards title contention.

Shakur Stevenson vs Artem Harutyunyan Prediction

Undefeated WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson aims to rebound from a lackluster title-winning effort when he takes on hungry contender Artem Harutyunyan in the main event.

The 27-year-old Stevenson engaged in a tedious bout with Edwin De Los Santos last November, as the two counterpunchers failed to produce much action. It was an underwhelming showing from the New Jersey native, who is typically one of the most exciting young fighters in the sport.

We expect Stevenson to make a statement in front of his hometown fans and deliver a rebound performance. The talented southpaw possesses lightning-quick hand speed, elite defensive instincts, and underrated power. His footwork and ability to quickly close distance is a thing of beauty.

Challenger Artem Harutyunyan, meanwhile, is getting his first crack at a world title. The Armenian-born German gave Frank Martin all he could handle last July before dropping a controversial decision.

The aggressive Harutyunyan has a relentless pressure style and excellent combination punching. However, he can get a bit overzealous in the pocket.

10 Knockouts 7
5’8″ (173 cm) Height 5’7″ (170 cm)
68″ (173 cm) Reach N/A

For Harutyunyan to pull off the massive upset, he’ll need to effectively cut off the ring, work the body, and refuse to let Stevenson get into a rhythm. It’s a tough stylistic matchup, though, as Stevenson’s feet and reflexes are on another level.

While Harutyunyan is durable and won’t go quietly, Stevenson’s speed and skill advantages will likely prove too much. Look for “Fearless” to put on clinic and cruise to a unanimous decision triumph victory in front of his fans.

Stevenson vs Harutyunyan Pick:

  • Stevenson to win by decision (-120)

O’Shaquie Foster vs Robson Conceicao Prediction

The co-main event is an interesting clash of styles between slick counterpuncher O’Shaquie Foster and Brazilian volume puncher Robson Conceicao.

Foster is making the third defense of the belt he won in February 2023. The 30-year-old Texan is a patient boxer who likes to gradually break opponents down with precise counters. His only two losses came early in his career and he’s won 12 straight.

Robson Conceicao captured gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics but is still searching for his first pro world title. The 35-year-old Brazilian has a wealth of experience and elite technical skills. He peppers opponents with his jab and has great footwork.

The key for Foster will be to maintain distance, use his four-inch reach advantage, and land clean counters. Conceicao must use intelligent pressure behind his jab to back Foster up and unload combinations.

22-2 Record 18-2-1 (1 NC)

5’9″ (175 cm) Height 5’10” (178 cm)
72″ (183 cm) Reach 70.1″ (178 cm)

This is a 50-50 type matchup that could go either way. I’m siding with Conceicao to finally get over the hump and win a close but clear decision to become a world champion. His work rate and quality jab should be the difference on Saturday night.
