The Chilean 29th seed delivered a resilient display to upset the top-seeded Serb. He made two breaks in each set to seal the triumph.

Next stop for Novak is Paris. The French Open will be held from May 26 to June 9.
Djokovic has won Coupe des Mousquetaires three times (2016, 2021 and 2023). Last year he beat Casper Ruud in the final, 7-6 (1), 6-3, 7-5.
