Class of 2025 four-star defensive lineman, Zion Williams committed to the LSU Tigers over TCU, Texas, and Texas A&M.
The 6-foot-5 Texas native joins LSU’s third ranked recruiting class in the 2025 cycle along with five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood and four-stars Harlem Berry, LaJesse Harold, Devin Harper, and Charles Ross.
247Sports ranks Williams as the No. 298 overall prospect in the Class of 2025.

Before cutting down his list of schools down to four, Williams fielded offers from several powerhouse programs such as Alabama, Notre Dame, USC, and Georgia.
The rising senior will close out his high school football career at Lufkin High School located in Lufkin, Texas before arriving to Baton Rouge.

Even though the Horned Frogs missed out on one of their top prospects, head coach Sonny Dykes has added several solid players from the 2025 cycle including four-star commits, Micah Strickland, Dane Jones, Logan Schram, and Chad Woodfork.
TCU struggled last year, going 5-7 after making the College Football Playoff in the 2022 season, whereas LSU finished 10-3.
