4. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
A week ago, the ACC powerhouse didn’t have a single transfer recruit locked in for next season. Now, they have one of the best classes in the country.
The Irish landed the No. 9 portal recruit, Liza Karlen from Marquette, and the No. 10 portal player, Liatu King from Pittsburgh. In the process, coach Niele Ivey added over 35 points and 18 rebounds a game of production to her roster based on Karlen and King’s combined stats from the 2023-24 season.
It’s not fair to think that both will maintain that level of production on a deeper Irish roster, but these numbers speak to how important their play will be to Notre Dame’s national championship aspirations.
